Happy New Year!

From all of us at What The Fiction, here’s to a great 2012!

Our submission period closed last night, so we’re already well into accepting and declining work. Our goal is to have the issue up and out before the end of January.

We’ll re-open on February 15, so get to work!

Reading period almost over

Many thanks to those who have submitted work to WTF in this, our first reading period. We’re excited about how the first issue is shaping up, and we are on track to get it published in January. We do still have things we’re reading, and there are two more days left in this reading period. So, if you’ve got something great … get it to us ASAP!

If you have submitted and we did not accept your piece, there are several things to keep in mind. Us not taking the piece does not mean the work isn’t good or interesting — it could be that it is just not for us. Sometimes, the work needs more polish. Trust us, we know as well as anyone how hard it is to find the right place for the right story.
